Day trip to Chichester Cathedral and the Roman Palace at Fishbourne

Itinerary:
08.00 COACH PICK UP AND DEPARTURE FROM GILLINGHAM STARTS
08.00 Pick-up at Peacemarsh at the top of Gyllas Way
08.15 Pick-up at Broad Robin shops
08.30 Pick-up at Gillingham Library
Travel to Chichester Cathedral with a 30 minutes coffee /comfort stop at Rownham Services on the M27.
11.45 Arrive at Chichester Cathedral
12.00 GUIDED TOUR OF CHICHESTER CATHEDRAL
This takes about 45minutes after which there will be time for lunch and perhaps a wander through historic Chichester. The Cathedral is in the City Centre.
14.20 DEPART FROM CHICHESTER FOR FISHBOURNE ROMAN PALACE
14.30 SELF GUIDED TOUR OF FISHBOURNE.
Staff are available to answer questions and Ian McLellan will assist. He dug at Fishbourne 1962-1964. The site consists of a museum, a large covered area over the North Wing with its mosaics etc as well as the gardens outside.
There is a café on the site for tea.
16.30 COACH DEPARTS FOR GILLINGHAM
There will be a comfort stop at Rownham Services on the M27 19.00 approx. Arrive back in Gillingham. Drop off at the pick-up points
COST £23.00 per head
This covers the coach fare, guided tour of the Cathedral, entrance to Fishbourne Roman Palace and gratuities. It does not cover coffee/tea and lunch
