What was life like in this village during World War 2 ?
From air-raids to celeb evacuees, plane crashes to propaganda
and food rationing to personal anecdotes ... local historian,
Wendy Waters, returns with yet another fascinating presentation,
brimming with detailed research and dramatic images.
We will glimpse something of the fear and danger that villagers faced,
the daily personal sacrifices ... and the lighter side of how the battle was won on the home front.
An evening of thought provoking detail in another chapter of Stour Provost history, one not to be missed!
